All you Need to Know to Start Hiring our Beautiful China and Pretty Linen for Your Tea Party
HIRE TIME
By negotiation, usually 48 hours or over a weekend. However, we will discuss this with you
at the time of booking.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
Local delivery is free, (within a 15 mile radius of Lincoln), and there after, 40p per additional
mile. You may however collect your items from us and deliver back again. Times by arrangement.
Items will be checked with you at the time of delivery/collection/return. A delivery note will be signed
to the effect that all items are in good order at the beginning and end of the hire period. Please bring
any problems to our attention at these points. Damage sustained during the hire period will be subject to additional
charges.
DEPOSIT
The deposit will be 50% of the total order, payable when the order is confirmed, with the balance being
payable upon return of the china etc.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel your order within 30 days of your tea party, the deposit will be retained by us. If the
cancellation is prior to the 30 day period, your deposit will be returned in full.
BREAKAGES
In the event of breakage, damage or loss to any of the hired items, the following charges will be incurred:
- £1 per item of cutlery
- £5 per small china item (cup, saucer, milk jug, sugar bowl)
- £10 per large china/glass item (tea pot, cake stand)
- £10 per table cloth.
(Damage is to be understood as chips, cracks, breakage, staining or tearing).
